Looking for easy trails around Sonora California

I'll be heading to Mercer Caverns area near Sonora, California and would like to explore that area, any recommendations? It will be raining according to the weather report, I will be soloing and no winch (yolo!).

What is “easy”? Niagra Rim is a great trail not too terrible far but I am not sure if the gates are open on the forest roads yet.
