I am very seriously considering an early pre - def 6.7.
I currently have a 2019 ford 6.7 and before that I had a 2001 7.3.
The 2019 has been mostly good. A few computer things that Ford just had to reset early on and then all good. That is the issue for me.
This is why I want to go back to pre-def. Since I have already owned a 7.3 international . I think it's time for the cummins.

I have been doing a lot of research on this trucks. I have a long list of preventive patience I will do right from the get go to bullet proof ( as best as I can).
The truck needs to do 20-25k a year half dirt. Tow a horse trailer a few times a month and be a reliable DD / travel rig around the west.
I am interested to hear thoughts from those you own / have owned 5.9 / 6.7
Thank you

I just retired from the auto parts business (again) after 23 years. I sold 25% more Dodge/Crysler parts than any other manufacture. Almost never sold a Ford peripheral part such as a alternator, water pump, starter or whatever. Chevy eats front end parts and everything else because folks drive them into the ground. LOL. I'm not a ford guy but I love Motorcraft everything for the quality.
Just my 38 cents.
