Oh the shame [emoji12]
Starts and "runs" great, until you decide you want to go somewhere other than the driveway. Possible cam sensor problem, just have not had time to dig into it.Show it a bag of spanners and it will start fine for you.
Yes it does. The previous owner put a new one in it about 6 months before I bought it. They are prone to getting oil in the connector and make you want to burn it to the ground. Just have not had the desire to look at it yet.It is all part of the charm of older Land Rover ownership. I don't know anything about Disco 1's, so I ask the question, does it have a cam sensor?
One of the reasons why I love my 3.9 instead of the 4.0's, just a simple distributor!Yes it does. The previous owner put a new one in it about 6 months before I bought it. They are prone to getting oil in the connector and make you want to burn it to the ground. Just have not had the desire to look at it yet.

If I didn't have at least one dash light on, I would probably bail out thinking it would explode any second!! Lol. Gotta love a Rover...'05 LR3/Disco3, Plenty of lights on the dash but if ignore them it does great!
