I tried a 12V cooler for the first time last weekend. It held up great for the 3 days and I'm sure it will be fine on longer trips.

That ^^^ was for the food. The beer was in an Ozark Trail 25L cooler and it was good too. I usually freeze water in 2 1L jugs and put them in the bottom of the cooler which is fine for 3 days.

Whooooa...local merchant price on a 65 qt. Yeti is $400

I'm out
You can get a Costway 54 qt fridge for less than that and you never have to buy ice! Also check Ebay for DC powered fridges, sometimes you can find a better deal there!

50 quart Pelican, kinda heavy, but honestly this thing is built tough, I can stand on it doesn't flex a bit and I am no light weight. It will also keep ice for about 8 or 9 days during mid summer in 90 degree weather and doesn't have those stupid rubber bungee latches that most of the other brands have. It is well worth the $275 I paid for it on Amazon, it was supposed to be a scratch and dent but I cannot find the damage. It was in a new sealed box. 20180424_161634.jpeg
