I like the stand idea, I have brought some out before on certain higher risk trips but I always found them bulky when loaded down for the long haul. I do like to cut rounds of wood (if able and allowed) for stands when I am concerned and do not have the stands. A small saw can go along way with some vehicle bushcraft. Still a great idea though!I carry an 8-ton bottle jack all the time, and the Hi-Lift when I'm off-roading. I have a camper on full time and always have leveling blocks to put the bottle jack on if need be. I also carry a set of aluminum jack stands to put under the truck.

Do you remember what model exhaust jack specifically?I can only attest to the time we used it at the meeting, only the unloaded JKU that it would lift enough to change a tire. We used it on a F150, A Taco, and the JKU....we tried to give it a fair shake .as in a tire change....

A front recovery point...and a hitch stinger minimum. The first time your stuck you don't want to be using your suspension as a anchor point. Plastic is like egg shell, no forgiveness if torqued on.Yes i realize im not lifting the whole vehicle, as i said the stock bottle jack that came with the truck is begining give out and it was rated for lifting 1/4 of the truck. Metal bumpers are out of the question i dont want all that weight its the same reason i dont use an electric winch. Im just going to have to get a exhaust jack its the only type i havent tried yet. I'll leave my farm jack on my farm where it belongs to change tires on tractors and level sheds/barns. Another option ive thought about aside from air jack is to fab some rotating brackets to fit rv electric leveling jacks on all 4 corners of my frame the rotating brackets would allow the jacks to to sit parallel to the frame rails when not in use, just rotate down and press a button to lift. But thats probably a stupid idea they would weigh alot.

It has 2 tow shackels in the front and one in rear. Still wont do a bit of good for a farm jack without damage, no idea what your talking about using suspension as an anchor point thats what rocks, trees and other rigs are fr.A front recovery point...and a hitch stinger minimum. Recovery hooks?????? this should be job 1
There is a company that makes a adapter to pin the Hi-lift into those shackle points. A guy with the handle of CPO3 works with them and is on Youtube...It has 2 tow shackels in the front and one in rear. Yes, there is a You-tube vid on the 2 models they offer. If you use the High lift Jack, the bumper hook, it will work in the 3/4 inch D-ring of the stinger if your careful. I also posted about a slider adapter for the Hi LYFT jack in the recovery thread. There is a company that makes a adapter to pin the Hi-lift into those shackle points.
