That water tank is sick. I would love to get one of those. I bet they're expensive though lol. Your doggos are adorable :)My copilot using the Frontrunner tank for a pillow. View attachment 139674View attachment 139675

They're not too expensive, and sometimes you can find them for sale in the classifieds section, I think right now they're going for about 200 new. FWIW I like mine, and I'm glad I have it. I don't keep mine permanently installed. I only drop it in and hook it into the Jeep when I'm going out for more than an overnighter. Shoot me a PM if you have any specific questions so we don't Clutter up the thread here. That water tank is sick. I would love to get one of those. I bet they're expensive though lol. That’s a good idea. I’ve left mine permanently in thecopcar because the platform is above it. With thethirdtwin I haven’t settled on a long term strategy yet. They're not too expensive, and sometimes you can find them for sale in the classifieds section, I think right now they're going for about 200 new. The teardrop has more boat parts than anything else. . I think the varnish failure is simply age. It’s 14 years old. I touched it up once, maybe twice. I don’t recall now. So definitely time for some maintenance. I had a plan to refinish the entire thing last winter, then life took a turn.love it! didnt realize that you had that much going on until i saw the thread again. we're building out at the same time, too bad we arent neighbors!
what was the deal with the finish? it looks great in the pics, but obviously you had some failure issues. i love the varnish look...reminds me of the old style wood boats.

very cool look. youre also very right about "deer armor" on the front of the tahoe. we still go thru sonora and ozona to visit my mom and there are always deer running out in the road.
very nice rig! let us know when youre ready for black gap again. we have a pooch now, so mollie will have a companion
