Practically neighbors! As he (and I) are probably closer to you than we would be to anyone in the Beaumont/Orange/Port Arthur area of Texas.
Considering Denver is about the same distance as Houston I’ll have to agree lol.

I’m originally from Lubbock, next time I get out that way it would be cool to get into some adventure flat land style. :)

I would love to, buffalo lake is pretty fun and there is a bunch of places to explore around Carlsbad.
That sounds awesome! I normally come to town around September for dove season but may be up sooner. I’ll holler at you if I get up there earlier!

Hahaha. I lived there for a few years myself. Always ask if people are from there or from one of the outlying communities.
It’s a good little town. Or at least it was. Feels more like a city every time I go back. I grew up right off Clovis highway and Frankford Ave. before we moved more into town.
