Hello from Park City Utah

Just a quick note to introduce myself. I am retired and loving it. I spend my time between our home in Utah and our trawler based on the east coast of the US. In 2013 I purchased a new Jeep Rubicon and after a couple of years running stock I decided it was time to make some modifications and teach myself how to crawl the rocks in southern Utah.

i enjoy the National parks and that is where you will find me if I’m not in my garage fixing something I broke on the trail or planning my next adventure. I am up for anything from a two day to an excursion of a couple of weeks. Being retired gives me the flexibility and stability to really enjoy overlanding and meeting new friends.

Not really. Out here all I have are a couple of cheap portables.

I’m on a hand held. Yaesu FT1D. I hit the repeater on 145.27 easily.
