have been thinking about the buddipole antenna, and saying the heck with the HOA, (hang a flag off of it and say its a very tall flagpole...LOL
Pickup ARRL's book on stealth antennas and the wire antenna classics book has some ideas as well for stealth. The buddipole is neat but I think there are better options for use at home.

Have Yaesu and Baofeng handhelds, working on a Yaesu 8900 portable comm box to switch between rigs and the boyfriend is setting up his Yaesu 857 as the cabin base comm. I'm just learning more about all the equipment and the challenges of transmitting in mountainous timberland.

New member #5703, checking in, call sign K3DHS, I am good on QRZ.com for station details. In short, I run a Cobra CB and a Yaesu FTM400 DR in the rig with a Yaesu FT2D portable. I also have an Elecraft KX3 line with KPA100/PX3. My home station is an Elecraft K3/P3 and an ICOM 880H.
