We may it through Berdoo Canyon no problem, little tight but that made it challenging. We looped back around and camped on Means dry lake bed, this photo above was over by Chocolate Thunder one of the hammers trails.
One of our buddies had never been out there before.

Had my buddy at ttmotorsports in simi valley fab me up some bolt on rock sliders. Just cleaned them really well, hit them with self etching primer, and then a spray on bed liner coating. Time will tell how well the bed liner holds up.

So this happened today....

I have wanted a flippac for the longest time. Found one on here but it was out in Arizona, luckily we worked it out, and got it delivered. This one is actually made for a 6 foot be so im going to have to do some modification. Its in pretty good shape and the price was great, super excited! Definitely will be nice to have all my gear safe and secure. More to come!

Took the truck out this weekend to Anza Borrego state park to do some exploring. The truck worked great with the flippac, definitely needs more valving in the rear shocks though.

First camp

Camped near Truckhaven, then took dirt to 17palms .

Having some fun along the way.

After 17 palms we took dirt to Fonts Point. But after backtracking about 10 miles because my buddies tailgate opened and he lost his tent, but we found it!

After Fonts Point we took mostly dirt with some Hwy past Borrego Springs and eventually to Slot Canyon. This was the beginning.

Pretty amazing place.
After having a lunch break we took more dirt over to Fish creek to checkout the wind caves.

Along the way.

We made it!

We camped near the abandoned rail road tracks south of Fish Creek. Nice tiny dune area, then followed the tracks southish towards Ocotillo.

Running the trucks is a fun road for the truck maintained about 40-50 mph. Definitely some but whoops can't wait to revalve the rear shocks.
The we went to Dolomite Mine.

After Dolomite Mine we hit the Mud Caves, definitely the highlight of the trip.

Adventure dog went through all the caves, even the extremely tight ones, people were shocked he was right there just crusin along!

Horrible picture but it gives you an idea of how tight some of the offshoots were. So dark you couldn't even see your hand in front of your face. Then we aired up, took about 30 minutes im the only one with a compressor, took Hwy to Julian had some dinner hit the road home. Great trip with almost zero issues can't wait to get out there again.

Desert bar food was epic, this bar is rad, its off the grid.
On the trail up to Roveys Needle.
Overlooking the Colorado river.
Wild burros in Oatman.

Some great adventures for sure. Are you going to mount an air tank for the compressors to dump into to help with airing up the tires?

I actually have a 2.5 gallon viair tank, but i couldn't find a good mounting location. With the rock slider legs ect, for now im running without a tank. The dual system should be plenty fast.

Well at the end of last trip i got a sidewall flat, and decided i didn't want to buy another stock tire because i wanted larger ones anyways. Got a great deal on some 35x12.50x18 general x3s.

Look great they are a little louder than i thought but not too bad.
