Man...

All the Mopar hate.

The Grand Wagoneer wasn't designed to be a rock crawler. It's an executive hauler, ranch crew/family hauler, secret service hauler, just like the Suburban.

They make all the other Jeeps for rock crawlers.

The most dependable vehicles I've ever owned were Mopar, and I think this is a gutsy move during a Global downturn in the economy,

Carry on...

Had to google it, I don't like it or the new Blazer.

I'll stick with older vehicles, atleast some of them have some form of personality (atleast that's my opinion).

In all fairness they weren’t designing it to be a modern take on a classic design like the new bronco. It was made specifically to fill the void of an executive SUV which it kind of does. It is exactly what they intended it to be. My .02

If a truck and SUV company is not designing a new Blazer or a new Grand Wagoneer to be a modern take on a classic, then they should leave those name plates alone.

Call it something else.

For the record, the original SJ, Cherokee and Wagoneer were not designed as luxury executive SUV's, but they made that Grand Wagoneer out of them in the 80's, and that was indeed the demographic Jeep was looking for when they did that.

Give it great 4x4 chops. Then make it super luxurious. But dont sacrifice one for the other.

Meh for me as well. Too low, to much wheel and too little rubber. Might be good to take the whole family to the ski slopes I suppose. Maybe they do better with the Wagoneer. Not holding my breath.

They dropped the ball on the retro styling for sure.
I'm sure itd very comfortable and has a lot of bells and whistles, definetly good for long trips im guessing.

If you want an offroader, get a wrangler... or a ram if you need more room.
