Yeah Bodie was alot of fun. I hadn't been there for about 20 years. It was VERY hot out there...not much shade...so if in the summer time come prepared with alot of water and portable shade if you have any.
And yes as far as the hard shell goes I agree very expensive......basically priced me out. Found the soft top and very happy I went with it!! Good luck with what ever you choose.
