I geocache in VA. Even hid a few!

The wife and I made it out after times this past summer with a few finds but it's winter here in maine so will have to wait till spring before going out again.

I started doing Geo-CASH videos to encourage people to get off the couch, and explore some back roads. It is not a lot of money, but hopefully it encourages people to get out and explore no matter what type of vehicle they drive.

Just noticed this. We love geocaching. I try to scout out a few before we head to an area...as geocaching is always welcomed by the kids...no matter the weather...or boredom level...lol

This sounds really fun! I know we are heading into winter in the region, but this could be a really good opportunity to plan another round for spring!

Winter is a good time for it. Breaks up the winter blues...and no bugs or snakes to deal with. And the underbrush is easier to get through too.

I do it when I travel or to get the kids out of the house. It’s a great hobby to do all over the world.
