I think it might be fun for those around the DFW area to meet up at one of the OHV parks in the area for a day or two (or three) of wheeling.

The two spots I know about are Northwest OHV Park in Bridgeport (http://www.cityofbridgeport.net/322/Northwest-OHV-Park) and Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area in Gilmer (http://www.barnwellmountainra.com/).

I have not been to Northwest OHV Park yet, only Barnwell, so I can't personally suggest that one, but if those who have been to both think Northwest is a better destination, I'm open to it.
Barnwell Mountain has plenty of camping space if we decide to make it a weekend trip, as well as trails that would be fun for pretty much any rig, from a stock SUV to a full blown rock crawler.

Not sure when it would be, but hopefully before summer.

Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in!

Well myself and 2 others went to Hidden Falls (look up Marble Falls Tx) this past weekend. Was nice because 1) there is a smattering of trail from entry to advanced and 2) its a good place to gauge your rig. It was pleasant for me because it allowed my girlfriend to see what offroading is about while giving me a chance to stack my 4runner up against the jeeps I have owned. That being said i do believe she is hooked and we may be entertaining the notion of going back. Come up with a date and hit me up.
