Hi All,
Chasing information if anyone has experience with an after-market install for remote start on a PX2 Wildtrak (Australian model) and if so what brand would be recommended.

After a lot of research, I am aware of the FordPass Connect covering the smartphone app + in-car modem however this setup apparently can't be retro fitted even from Ford. Therefore, I've turned my scope to 3rd party suppliers whilst being careful as I don't want a cheap might work/might not work solution. Essentially chasing a solution which allows me to use a FOB to start the car to defrost the Canberra winter and allow the car to "warm up" for 10 or so mins before I jump in and drive.
Any recommendations or experiences would be great!

Thanks OB's

In my experience if your remote start didn't come equipped from the factory there will be tons of trouble down the line with aftermarket.

Things like intermittently working, not letting you start it at all, dying all of a sudden, alarms for no reason etc

I've done it enough to know it is not worth it unless factory made.

Pretty sure on my Superduty that the autostart is tied into the cam bus. OEM is the only viable option.

Thanks for the advice. The more I read the more sounds like it’s not worth the drama post install. Appreciate the response mate, cheers
