Thought I'd post about my 2019 Ranger that I love so much. It is definitely a project for me that I like to spend time on. This hobby is getting Expensive!

2019 Ford Ranger XLT FX4 - I bought it used with 6k miles on it. I flew to Louisiana on 5/28/20 to pick it up from the dealer and drove it back to California the next day. I now have 29k+ miles on it.

Brief overview of modifications:
  • Tailgate Damper - Best mod yet
  • Fox 2.5 DSC's Front and Back
  • OME Leaf Springs
  • ICON Rebound Wheels 17 X 8.5"
  • BFGoodrich KO2 285/70R 17
  • Baja Designs Lights everywhere
  • Rock Sliders from WhiteKnuckle-Offroad
  • GOFSR High Country 55"
  • Yakima Outpost Rack
  • Rhino Dome 1300 awning

Awesome looking build man! How do you like the 2.3? How’s it performing with the additional weight?

Switching from SDHQ. I have the Switch Pros module with the SDHQ brackets. One for the engine bay and the other for the cab. I think it looks factory especially since I can color match the LEDs to the rest of the gauges.

It's an amazing engine. It doesn't struggle at all with the extra weight. I've taken this thing up Pikes Peak without any issues. I've done multiple 12k+ foot passes and it runs strong. The turbo is really that good. I do blow passed Tacoma and Jeeps especially out in the dirt or long climbs.

Ham/GMRS Callsign
GMRS: WRFT263, HAM:
I'm sad that you have a ding in the front fender already :disappointed:

I love my Ranger! Anyone who says it needs a 6 cylinder engine hasn't driven one. Damn thing scoots! At some point, I'l start a build thread for mine. I'll probably get a Trigger+ because I don't like my wiring job for my lights in the engine bay. We'll see how fast it goes with the Pullkitchen, Dometic DZ fridge and Go Fast Camper and 20 Gallons of water in a few months. I've been looking at the OME rear springs, too. We'll see how much it sags.

The GFC stuff is really nice. I'm looking into an RSI cap myself. I would probably pair it with A hard shell RTT from FSR. Please post pics once you get your GFC installed!

This is the staging area for the Rubicon trail. No, I did not even attempt it. But just getting to this point in 18" of snow was a blast! I ended up snow plowing much of the way with my skid plate

I have a build thread with the Ranger with the RSI going at the moment. Waiting on the stow away table and the roof rack to show up, but I have the kitchen installed. It's awesome! (Wife needs a step stool to see in a pot. Good thing I'm the cook.)
