Had the same thing happen on my Burb. Surprised you couldn't feel it in the steering. Mine would pull hard left like torque steer during acceleration and then push back when the front end settled.

Hey! I was at that beach with the rusting ship skeleton just this last thanksgiving! My kid wanted to drive our Ford PU in the sand and got it stuck. (In the parking lot) Good education for everyone involved. :)
I read your build log and today, I'm jealous. You can do "improvements" to your rig. I'm still at the "fighting for mechanical survival" level.

Haven't read all the posts to see if you replaced the traction bars but if you haven't please do. Running that many lift blocks puts a heck of a lot of force on the springs and under acceleration or going over bumps things will mover around a lot. You will get a ton of axle wrap and can easily break a yoke on the diff or worse. Things can also get real squirrely under hard braking.
