We're travelling from Saudi Arabia [Eastern Province] to Las Vegas tonight. Taking the GX out of storage, installing roof rack, awning, side steps in the next week, then hitting some trails till mid August.
Perhaps a trip to the beach in CA is a good option

I'm currently on my way to Utah, today I'll driving White Rim trail. I'll check with the Rangers the road conditions. I'm stunning with the video around here! Route I70 Colorado - Utah is amazing!

I just got back from my week long Utah trip a little over a week ago and had an absolute blast. I spend my whole time in the south west part of the state but will be going back again. I know that the S.W 9 is closed through the Zion area. It got washed out a couple days after I left.
But if you are in the Area of Hurricane I would recommend going out the Kolab terrace road. And also going out to Tuquerville falls and camp out there for a night. Hope you have an awesome trip.
