Last call for electric griddle by Kickass products. They are closing out their US store and have their Egriddle reduced from over $200 down to $64.95. I have used this camping and it only draws 600 watts when started and then goes down to around 400 watts. It gets up to 450 degrees and easily cooks hamburgers or pancakes. I am not affiiliated with them but the price is on a good blowout sale. kickassproducts.com.

600 amps lol... I don't think so. That's a cable like your forearm.
It's 600W ;)

They are out of Australia but had a rough go of it here in the US. I have bought many of their products and they are top quality. They are now looking for a US distributor instead of going it here on their own. I only pointed this out since I have not seen any other company offer a electric griddle like this. Their flashlights/power banks are very good also.

i clicked on the link and saw the kickass oven on sale and was going to get it but its sold out. really good sale price for the griddle...i only passed on it because its non-stick and ive already eaten enough teflon flakes over the years, but really good pricing and looks to be well made. aussies make good stuff...i use austrailian made Vicmarc woodturning tools and they are superior quality

ok...maybe not their beer...but everything else...

Porcelain nonstick not Teflon.

I really like a flat top griddle and we take our LP Blackstone flat top on a lot of trips and love it. I recently bought an electric flat top griddle to go on our back porch next to the pizza oven. Its a 1750 watt electric one and is pretty impressive...I got it because I just needed something relatively small out there and at 1750 watts, I didn't have to rewire for 220v.

I remembered this thread and how there was a 600 watt version mentioned, but after using the 1750 watt unit, I really don't see how a griddle pulling 600 watts is going to get very hot and do a very good job. I feel limited with a 1750 watt unit and cant imagine something 3 times less powerful...
If the 600 watts did get the griddle up to a certain temp, then putting a piece of meat on it would cool the grill immediately and then take a while to climb back up to temp.

Anyway, I really like this griddle for what we use it for...grilling for 2 people and using it to grill batches of naan and tortillas. Works really well for that and did a perfect job grilling burgers and hash browns. If anyone is wanting an electric griddle at a good price, I would highly recommend the Vevor one. It is quite heavy (feels VERY well made) and has been working flawlessly for a few months now. If we do a trip where we are at a campground with electricity or taking a generator boondocking, then I would certainly recommend taking this grill along. At 1750 watts, it will run off of my smaller 2200 watt inverter generator. I don't crank the heat all the way, so it draws even less...but even maxed out, it will still not overload the smaller generator. It gets up to temp quick and does well holding heat. Perfect for boondocking and making street corn, fajitas, hash browns, etc. Easy to clean and easy to set up outside on a picnic table or tailgate.

I certainly wouldn't take this for hardcore boondocking...but if I'm already taking a genny to run the A/C...might as well take this along and save the hassle of pots and pans with a propane camp stove.

The 600 watt easily cooks 4 hamburgers or steaks. I have a power bank with 3800 watt inverter and some with 1800. This little unit is small and works fine. I can use my blackstone if I need more or bring an electric fry pan.
