Nope. But it was close. Luckily nothing was damaged, but I needed a cigarette afterwards.

Been there... lolWhile I was changing a rear rotor, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the caliper off. I was prying at the brake pads, then smacking it with a dead blow hammer. Wouldn't budge. Finally realized that I had the parking brake on. DOH!

OMG.. Haha I laugh because I did ALMOST THE same thing on my ram 2500.. Except it was the drivers side and I only got one arm caught. I managed to pull very hard and get my arm out, because my wife too was inside and could not hear me. I had some deep scratches on my arm for a couple months... Glad I'm not the only one who's done it.Hood struts on my ram 2500.
Opened the hood, pulled a strut off on one side, hood slammed down on both of my arms and latched shut...i was on the passenger side of the truck. Screamed for my wife for about 10 minutes lol turns out she was bathing our son.
Oh same truck, backed into a 40° driveway, e brake set and nothing else, pulled the rear driveshaft off, truck ran me the fuck over. If it wasnt lifted i would be a blood streak on the driveway....needless to say i sold that truck the next week since appprently it wanted me dead lol

Ooh Crap that hurtsI was putting a new belt to get rid my old squeeky one. I left the wrench on the tensioner and started the truck. After ducking for cover after hearing noises like I was taking fire. I see coolant all over the floor. The wrench broke the fan, went through the radiator and snapped the new belt I just put on. So now anytime I start the truck after working on it I'll spend a good 10 minutes making sure I didn't leave anything laying around. Not fun going from a 25$ repair to a 350$ repair.

Ouch! Love those 1st Gen Camaros though. So sexy!!!On my old 68 camaro drag car I had just installed a new transmission and went to the track that weekend for some testing only I forgot to install the transmission mount. At 120mph it makes a hell of a noise and can cause a ton of damage.
