US Southeast Dipping our toe in

We had our first family adventure today! It was a super short trip to convince the wife driving off paved roads is a great idea for our family. The 7 month old did just great on the rocky road. We picked a geo cache within a national forest near us and spent a couple hours practicing for longer trips.
My wife said she had a great time. My son was incredibly pumped to be “in the wilderness”.

Victory! We made it from Arkansas to Florida!


I forgot to take a picture of the rig on the sand. So here’s a picture of our little family enjoying the beach instead.


At one point we even found a parking garage with 8’ of clearance so we could see some sights at a marina and shopping center.


So far it’s been an excellent road trip!
