DFW to Central Texas Rally Point Ideas

HI all, I am looking for some ideas for a meet-up in central Texas. We have several DFW members who are looking for a good camping spot and maybe a few trails for a meet on Nov 13th - 15th. I was looking at Hidden Falls but hoping to find somewhere less expensive. Any recommendations welcome. Any central Texas members interested in helping lead the DFW group on some local trails? Or even providing some routes we can take?

Hidden falls is just rockcrawling type trails. Camping is nothing special. From DFW you may want to look to one of the neighboring states.

A couple of rigs in our group are looking at the ozarks for the week of thanksgiving. That would be somewhat close for yall, being from rockwall.

Sorry, I'm super late to this party, lol
Oxford Campgrounds just south of Llano is right on the Hill Country Loop. Others call it the Llano River loop.
Hope this helps for future trips.
