I am trying to figure out a way/find a solution to mount/secure my Garmin Overlander GPS, my InReach coms and my cell to my 2015 4Runner center console. I am not looking to attach anything to the dash, and do not mind if I have to install a modular system to the center console (just recently installed panels to the back windows, so do not mind it at all).... but stuck trying to find the mounting solution that would keep my devices in place when out on the road.

Appreciate the help.

Something on this site may help. Looks to be rail systems for mounting various device holders. I found it researching for my own build starting next year.

Good luck!

I installed an Expedition Essentials powered accessory mount in my 2019. You'll lose the clock on the dash but I never really used it anyway.

Expedition essentials and ICS Fabrication are 2 options to add a mount above your dash where you can then add many devices. Otherwise RAM mounts offer many different mounting solutions.

Thanks for the details. I do not use the clock either. Will look into it.

I've used Ram mounts but really like Scosche magnetic mounts at least for Tablets and phones, if you don't mind metal plates on the back of your devices. Mine hold well and allow one hand operation.

I already have mag ones -- doesn't seem to hold up my phone or iPad on rough terrain. The Garmin Overlander has its own mag, and works really great, but it sits on the dash (want to have it in front of the radio instead, and be able to have access to it without having to remove it from the mag holder. Perhaps I'm using the wrong mags for my cell and iPad. Wil check ram mounts and see what they have. Thanks for the suggestion.

It’s a German inreach, there is a slide/clip on the back. The mount replaces the slide/clip piece. The German is with a friend, no photo. Check out the Ram mount site for better info. for your unit.
