Morning all,
Just joined the crew a couple of weeks ago. I'm up in Greeley. My brother and I are looking to go out with other members and explore the Rockies. Let us know if you plan something. I've requested to Michael and Corrie to upgrade my membership so I can have access to the map.

Hope to hear from you,
Best
Jeff

Hey Jeff hope to get the chance to go exploring with you some day, not sure when Gary is getting the group together (I missed the last met-up) but I have set a date to go down to the Ouray, Silverton, Lake City and Telluride area, August 3rd-6th planning to explore the Alpine loop and maybe Black Bear pass trail or some other very scenic area on Sunday. If you have never been down that way it is one of the most beautiful areas in Colorado.

Thought I'd chime in -- I'm heading the SW CO the first full week of June if Nyone is out that way. Also - want to get the idea of an April trail ride started - I haven;t done much in the way of rides on the Front Range (most of my time off road has been in Utah) so I'd appreciate any specific thoughts from the group on where might be a good Spring ride and then coordinate after ride MeetUp if possible for others to come meet who cant make the ride.

We just ran Schubarth Loop, last Sunday. We also came down Mnt. Herman road, many of the roads and trails are listed as closed in the south plate Ranger district, until may 15th to avoid damage (mud) But Schubarth was not on the list. Two weeks ago we ran the Rainbow falls area (broke my axle shafts messing around on Little Moab hill) So many trails in the southern part of the state is not going to open till June. I do believe that the Yankee hill area is open but will be busy over the weekends. Another great little area to run would be Bunce????

Surprised I haven't seen you out there, those are my 3 favorite local trails to hit! At one of them almost once a week

Yeah, I don't get out every weekend, but during the winter months I get cabin fever and the trails that are usually wheel-able are in your neighborhood, I think the uniqueness of Schubrath Loop will keep me comimng back. I look forward to taking my wife for a trail run down there, we kayaked Rampart a couple summers ago getting there before the crowd did. It was nice to paddle the lake before the droves of people got there. I think she will love the scenary, might have to camp down there and in the morning play at the lake again? What a great area!!!
