This I know, was just excited that this meet up was gonna be so close to home.I'm sure we'll certainly plan another - next time.
I'd like to do something like this fairly regularly at least through the winter and hope that leads to a few planned groups trips for 2018.I have plans with my folks. Next week works better for me.
Can't make it unfortunately - next time.Any of you guys going down to Castle Rock tomorrow?

Hey Jeff hope to get the chance to go exploring with you some day, not sure when Gary is getting the group together (I missed the last met-up) but I have set a date to go down to the Ouray, Silverton, Lake City and Telluride area, August 3rd-6th planning to explore the Alpine loop and maybe Black Bear pass trail or some other very scenic area on Sunday. If you have never been down that way it is one of the most beautiful areas in Colorado.Morning all,
Just joined the crew a couple of weeks ago. I'm up in Greeley. My brother and I are looking to go out with other members and explore the Rockies. Let us know if you plan something. I've requested to Michael and Corrie to upgrade my membership so I can have access to the map.
Hope to hear from you,
Best
Jeff

Thought I'd chime in -- I'm heading the SW CO the first full week of June if Nyone is out that way. Also - want to get the idea of an April trail ride started - I haven;t done much in the way of rides on the Front Range (most of my time off road has been in Utah) so I'd appreciate any specific thoughts from the group on where might be a good Spring ride and then coordinate after ride MeetUp if possible for others to come meet who cant make the ride.Hey Jeff hope to get the chance to go exploring with you some day, not sure when Gary is getting the group together (I missed the last met-up) but I have set a date to go down to the Ouray, Silverton, Lake City and Telluride area, August 3rd-6th planning to explore the Alpine loop and maybe Black Bear pass trail or some other very scenic area on Sunday. Surprised I haven't seen you out there, those are my 3 favorite local trails to hit! At one of them almost once a weekWe just ran Schubarth Loop, last Sunday. We also came down Mnt. Herman road, many of the roads and trails are listed as closed in the south plate Ranger district, until may 15th to avoid damage (mud) But Schubarth was not on the list. Two weeks ago we ran the Rainbow falls area (broke my axle shafts messing around on Little Moab hill) So many trails in the southern part of the state is not going to open till June. I do believe that the Yankee hill area is open but will be busy over the weekends. Another great little area to run would be Bunce????
