We are going to be out in the Dillon CO area and I'm looking for some off road trails that would be good to camp off of?

Some good spots back behind Keystone Mtn. and more East of Breckenridge. Check the MVUMs to stay off Private lands thought.

Also do you need to get any special license or get your vehicle registered in CO?

@Griffin89

Details on when you need to get registered and obtain an OHV permit can be found at: Colorado Parks & Wildlife - Off-Highway Vehicle Registrations & Permits

Colorado OHV Permit requirements:
All OHVs and motor vehicles (including motorcycles) that display a valid Colorado license plate must also display a current Colorado OHV use permit sticker when operated on designated OHV trails in Colorado.
All out-of-state OHVs (including OHVs that display an out of state OHV registration) must also display a current Colorado OHV use permit sticker when operated on designated OHV trails or routes in Colorado.
Permit fees are $25.25.

The fee goes towards maintaining the "designated OHV trails or routes" Check out Colorado Trail Explorer (COTREX) or the phone app to get an idea for which trails require this permit.
