Good afternoon all. We decided to put up some shorter videos called Just a Tip from Dickin' Around Outdoors that give our impressions of some of the gear we use-the first is kitchen knives for the chuck box-I hope you find it useful. I have always been curious about the durability of ceramic knives.

I have always been curious about the durability of ceramic knives.

We took them around Australia for ten months and they were like knew after the trip. We’ve been using them daily since then, at home (a year and a quarter (pandemic)), and one is now missing the tip of the blade (dropped on a tiled floor at a guess). They’re all still as sharp as when new. Should be fine for a while yet - at least while camping the floor is soft...
