For those of us coming from the south, you guys want to meet up and stage somewhere then head up? even if its a short ride its still fun to convoy :)

@SLO Rob , @kkauweloa, @FozRoamer

I am still a maybe on spending the night, depends what happens at home. I can bring some firewood and whatever other items are needed though.
Hard to say if I can meetup 100% or not. I am coming all the way from OC if I am in the area at that time I will try and meetup.

Just called and they told me the route is open from Fort Hunter Liggett to Prewitt Ridge but some areas may be hairy to get through and some one lane roads due to slides.

Well, I'm half-cancelling. Instead of rollin' the trailer up Fri nite I'll be wheelin in on 4 wheels Sat mid-morning. Will hang with y'all for the night, catch a few Z's in the driver's seat, and then roll early Sunday AM to Frank Raines OHV to meet up with some of my CF crew.

Are we heading to the site Mike G listed lat/long on 1/10/17? Prewitt Ridge is a fairly large area and I recall mostly the area where the gliders take off

Hard to say right now...kinda depends on if other campers are there. I figure that the first of our crew who arrives just scout the best spot for 8-9 rigs and keep an eye out for the rest. I have a tan 80's land cruiser that you can't miss. We should be there mid day

Just talked to someone at the Montery County Caltrans and he said HWY 1 will be closed this Saturday from Ragged Point (san Luis Obispo CO to 4.4 Miles South of Big Sur at Fullers Point. He said the Mudslides continue as they clean up HWY 1. He also said they will be doing surveys on the effected area's and that it could take a week or so to complete.

So, our only option is go from the east side from HWY 101 to Prewitt.

Im still very sick with the flu today and it pains me to say I may not make it. Ive had it since Monday and figured I would kick it by now. If I feel better tomorrow morning by some miracle I will see you guys there by mid day.
