Hi All,

Just joined Overland Bound about a month ago and a newbie so looking for a group to join us or some guidance on routes, etc.

Quick weekend run to Big Bear for some trails and camping. Planning to start early Saturday morning and head home Sunday, possibly going through Pioneer Town on the way back. I have a 18' GC Trailhawk (no sliders yet) and buddy has a JK Rubicon. We have done a couple off-road drives but definitely know what we don't know. Looking for some easy to moderate trails. Want a challenge but definitely not looking to do John Bull.

Anybody want to join?

Enthusiast I

I would love to get in on this. I’m new to the community and probably have a similar amount of experience so I can’t offer any guidance but it sounds super fun. I have a 18’ tacoma.

Dang, I've already got plans for that weekend. Wish I was able to get up there with y'all. Have fun.

A while back (June 2017) we did a trip over the hill from Apple Valley, thru White Mountain, and onto the North side of the lake. Was a great time, even though Ken Little's dad had to pull me up a good chunk of it, haha. I can't remember his tag on this, but maybe he can send the route we took.

That’d be great. I’m working on the route this weekend.

It looks like Grapevine Cyn. is really washed out so that may be a little much. The other thought was Coxey Rd. or Rattlesnake Cyn.

Thoughts on either of those?
