Indeed, but this video is a good example of ignoring multiple warnings and issues until catastrophe.
Also Wow... worst presentation ever. 2 min of content crammed into 48 min! Not attacking him, again kudos for speaking up , but Dude needs to edit it and stop trying to make excuses for 48 min. Good on him for making the video, but he buries the lesson in 48 min of blah blah.
Hooked up shackle wrong, did no coordination with other driver, didnt have comms, didnt stop things when he got concerned just let dude pull again, let other guy do a 4 or 5 meter full speed pull, multiple strong pulls on kinetic with no rest, cheap amazon shackle, no weight blanket on the rope, no use of recovery boards to get traction out with 1 pull...
... any single one of these being fixed would have stopped this failure chain cold.
This reads like every USAF accident reports ever, a string of mistakes and ignoring warning signs.

I would say few things and it will be a very important beside guy was rushing so new members are not going end up in this situation.
1. Guy called himself an off-road instructor - that is horrible just to think if it was someone from his group. So some companies are charging some good money for guide overlanding, and that is because a lot of them pro and have legit business. But people should check before hand them your money
2. Guy is running a group ride and having fun on trail when he should be with a group and responsible for a group safety!!! All that said about him and safety
3. Amazon recovery equipment is no brand! when he is running off-road groups ! Just wow, it's flag .
It's a good thing no one got hurt from a group, so people should research before giving their life in some guy whom run many off-road events or trails it's not meaning he is certified with this activity.
