Axles?

I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler unlimited Sahara and was wondering is it worth swapping the front axle to a Dana 44? I have been going through ball joints and steering components yearly it seems like. I’m running 35” k02’s. I have a rooftop tent and fixings. So lots of weight. I know I need to get at least 4.56 gears but if I’m investing the money should I just do a full swap?

With 35's or taller it would be a good idea to go with a 44. The added weight and diameter puts a ot of stress on the drive train and steering components.

I'm gonna ask... Have you sleeved and gusseted the axle?

Also what ball joints are you installing?
