I am hoping there is a road to an exposed mountain top somewhere, where a 4x4 is required to keep the numbers down. I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestion. Thanks
Any suggestions on where to watch the eclipse in NC.

I'd use the NASA website and Google Earth to plot you a spot. We have some links to the sites and various info on the Bend Oregon eclipse thread. Being in the East I'd keep a close eye on the weather and make a few alternate spots to minimize your chances for cloud cover. I'm in TN but I'm heading out west for it. Good luck on your viewing.
