I have been using my extra free time with this covid19 to build my 1999 Toyota Tacoma up. So I got my dual battery set up finished. I put 100 amp hour battery in bed of truck with (Renogy DCC50S 12V 50A DC On-Board Charger). I used 4 ga wire from starter battery to truck bed Which is about 11 ft run. There 80 amp breaker on starter battery side and 70 amp on aux battery side. Installed fuse panel with 6 spots and 6 rocker switches for accessories for later. Only thing i would like to fix is ground wire on battery. It's little long I ran out of 4 gauge battery terminal crimps . The battery charger has solar input. So I have ordered 100 watt solar panel coming Monday. Also installed overland pro Wraptor 2500 and drawer system.IMG_20200325_124544.jpgIMG_20200424_101215.jpgIMG_20200423_181812.jpgIMG_20200502_160739.jpg

Looking good. I’ve been looking at that Renogy DC-DC charger for awhile now.

For short time I have had it I like it.
I just haven’t figured out mentally how I would connect it from the engine bay to the inside of my camper shell without drilling a hole for the wires, which is where my other battery is located.

Look behind your tail lights. I had hole in top be hind my tail lights that gave me access to truck bed
