98-01 Cherokee rig gear

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

As you know, space is a premium in a XJ. I use a trailer top tent.

I've slept in my XJ and pulled both a tear drop trailer and an expedition style trailer with an RTT with it. If I want to go without a trailer I use a 4 sided hub tent that I set up next to my awing. I set up a cot inside and there's plenty of room for a chair and small table next to the cot. When packed up, the tent can be stored in the XJ side to side behind the seats.

Almost my set up exactly, I just plug in a 99 Ford Explorer into the mix! Gets me there and back….
