2021 Gladiator Rubicon Diesel - Black
Day we brought it home. Order FIshbone Half Rack and OEM Trail Rails. Will be moving the Tepui Autana RTT of my M416 trailer to it in early spring.
well I now have the tent on it and can haul two bikes if need be, one on either side. Also added the gen right aluminum rear bumper to improve the departure angle
Lifted the truck with AEV 2.5 inch dual sport RT lift with high capacity springs (makes it a 3.0 inch lift). Attached are before and after pics about a month apart. Before lift I couldn't stand under the tent in the back with out hunching down. After Lift I can stand up right with 2 inches above my head I am about 5ft 10 1/2 inches tall. Fender to ground in front was 38.5", after was 42.5", rear fender to ground was 38.5" after was 44". Hopefully it settles a bit. Rides more like a truck less like a car, suspension a lot more stiff which is a good thing, a lot less vehicle roll when cornering.
20% more in cost but 50% more in distance (JKUR on gas 15mpg vs JTRD on diesel 24-28mpg) works for me. funny thing is in Canada diesel cost 20% less then gas. funny how that works. To bad its not the same in USA
