Good stuff! I'm still debating what to do next. I will be completing the Prinsu install, Light Bar and LED's up front this weekend. I'm also hitting a 4Wheel Parts show this weekend near my house. This may change some current plans. We will see! Keep posting!!!
Update:
First i must say........ totally draining experience filled with lots of anxiety and fear, but my frontrunner rack full length is on.
1. Shout out to swell runner
2. Shout out to the 10 youtube videos I watched prior.
Where to start, well i guess i should mention buy or have the right tools. Rivnuts suck i had all the right tools but 1 of the 4 stripped out. The other 3 are very well locked. Have drill stops and get the thin ratchet wrenches. Very tight spaces.
Time: 6 hrs
Leaks: we will see sitting in the rain now.
Fit: measure 5 times.... even with that its 3/8ths off up front to the passenger side but spot on the rear. Ugh.... oh well when i install my light bar or ladder i will fix. OCD.
Looks: i love it. Black accents on a white car is very nice.
Quality: initial very well built.
Instructions: ehhh.....

I know how you feel with being OCD. Had the same issue with my K9 rack. I'm sure you'll fix it.
Did you use silicone in the holes?
Well, it didnt call for any, around the factory holes. i slathered all the bolts and the rivnuts lots of oozing. I really dont see how water could get in..... i really hope.I know how you feel with being OCD. Had the same issue with my K9 rack. I'm sure you'll fix it.
Yeah, next week i think i will loosen them up. Ugh.....
When I installed the 3/4 it clearly called for silicone around the plates, so if it didn’t in your instructions, that would be odd... I’m from the OCD School of How Could Checking it Once More Hurt, with a major in Never Trusting Anyone’s Instructions and a Minor in Freaking Out
For what it is worth, it’s a great rack, I’ve loaded mine up with everything you can imagine. I highly recommend FR Stratchits, brilliant with the internal bungee and the carabiner. And I would also recommend a ladder, I have the gobi and love it, great for loading securely
By the way, good on you for having the guts to go with the full rack. Looks awesome.
Freaking out i checked the instructions and yes, i put a bead of silicone ALL in the holes. However, it did not call for it specifically around the holes.......... ugh. Welp it is sitting in the rain right now we will see soon.
Update: it rained all night no leaks. Its been a pretty steady rain all night mixed with some heavy rain.

I can only tell the rack is off set at very specific angles. So i will def wait until i install my front runner 40 inch light bar to adjust.
Wind noise: testing that today, family trip to the zoo, IF it stops raining.
Also i need suggestions for a rear hatch ladder.
I was going to go with gobi, but i saw comparable aluminum ones for $50 more.

How was the water? All sealed tight?
I just finished applying the last bit of RVT around my spacers for the Prinsu rack. I’m hoping it’s going to be ok. Rain here tomorrow.
Appears to be fine. Steady rain all night thunder storms this morning no leaks.
I filled the holes with silicone and the bolts i just didnt slather all around like i saw others doing.
As of now, it looks good.
Post up some pics when done.

I doubt anyone will notice it is slightly off center. You can't see it in the photos. I'd just run it as is but I don't suffer from OCD thankfully.
You mentioned the ladder, I really like the gobi, but I didn’t look at a lot of alternatives. Wanted something that would work with the 4Runner and the Slimline II and had read somewhere that someone else had tried it. Ended up having to shift the rack a little forward to clear, but now have no contact between rack and ladder.
I’ve had the ladder on for just over a year, used it a lot and no signs of wear.
In very cold weather, as in cold for a Canadian cold, you have to lift the gate all the way to get it to stay open. Otherwise, no issues with the weight.
I need to put some 3M on my hood for rock chips, I am going to put a small patch on the rear hatch by a couple of the rungs, as the toe of my shoe does contact.

Update: well leaks bad constant leaks. Received a few supplies for camping. Taking daughter on first trip, excited!!!!
Story: i washed my 4runner. It leaked bad. All 8 holes on the rear. None on the front.
Fix: i unbolted it, thank fully the stripped rivnut came loose. I resealed to a point of hilarity. Reseated the rivnut (it failed again) and another one stripped out. Lets try this again. Lots of rain for next week and i will take a sprayer to it again.
Next: pull headliner pretty sure the bolt has enough thread to put a nut on. Tighten properly.
Lesson: dont out think yourself and when dealing with water ALWAYS use way more sealant than you think.

Well after over 9 weeks of waiting I formally disputed my order with bomber products for my CBI sliders. I highly recommend avoiding that company. Little communication and customer service was trash.
During my time waiting i found 4x inovations sliders and i feel these are more to my liking. I will be ordering those once my dispute is settled with AMEX.
Look forward to pics of my daughters first camping trip and load out of my 4runner.
I bought a gazelle 4 person tent and Coleman cot.
I also am working on mounting my xbull traction boards and a walmart table to the roof rack.
Well after over 9 weeks of waiting I formally disputed my order with bomber products for my CBI sliders. I highly recommend avoiding that company. Little communication and customer service was trash.
During my time waiting i found 4x inovations sliders and i feel these are more to my liking. I will be ordering those once my dispute is settled with AMEX.

Edit: it may seem like i purchased a lot based off of 1 camping trip. However, in my opinion storage and rocker protection are the most crucial aspects of building a offroad rig for camping. So i splurged. I have also been dealing with wifes school and having a 2 year old and my normal job and national guard. I plan on taking a trip a month for the next few months including a trip to and off road park. My wife is letting loose a little and allowing trips away from her. Also good news my father is ready to buy a new vehicle. He has 205k on an 2009 F150. He is 100% headed to the off road world, So having grandad able to be my companion i see much more involed trips later this year.
