2003 Chevy 2500 Suburban - overland build

Nice reading for my 02 Silverado 2500hd in case I wanna go this similar route.

If you're putting larger diameter tires highly recommend doing the Cognito and Rare Parts stuff to strengthen your steering components up. They wear fast otherwise shit feels like crap after logging some miles off road and long trips. If lifting 2.5" from the Cognito setup is nice or do a Coilovers setup from BDS which is now available. I'd go that route for lift if looking for a setup. My buddies suburban 1500 with Coilovers blasts through terrain hanging with fjs and Jeep's...lol I slooow on da trail hahah.

The coil over option sounds appealing. I just replaced my tires last week lol. Kept the same stock dimensions. Truck came with 3” lift so maybe the BDS route is the way to go? Thanks for the info.

So from this list what did you do as far as roof rack, rock sliders, rear bumper with tire carrier and what kind of skid plates do you have under it?

What size did you get the Cognito sway bar end links in?
