Very good quality cans. I bought 3 Scepter water (tan) containers way back when Y2K was coming, along with 3 British water (blk), I still have all of them. Much preferred over commercial products, these surplus containers are tuff. I was also given a (tan) Scepter, like above fuel version that i like also. These can all last a lifetime with care. The only downside I would say is the wrenches used to tighten the caps are about 18-20 dollars each, BUT......they do make it easier to seal, then by hand, especially the fuel can. The nozzle needed for the fuel can is also about $20. You can on Amazon get a separate nozzle/spout, or a conversion type that uses a more conventional spout,...your choice. Either way, they being military grade, they will defiantly hold up in the back country.

PS. And they should fit in most fuel racks, unlike basic over the counter containers. I also have some old 'BLITZ' original metel fuel containers and they are nowhere as durable or easy to use. The spouts/fuel caps always leak, and because of the newer EPA regs, you can not find replacement spouts anymore cheap, that work. The no leak cap is very important for rough or washboard roads. Ask me how I know.

Definitely a quality fuel container at a reasonable price. I've had two of the Scepter mfc's and one of their water can for over five years and they've held up well. As Desert Runner mentioned, a wrench and spout will also be needed - I bought mine from JAGMTE but there are other sources. I do need to replace the flange inside the cap that retains the gasket on both fuel cans but that's the only problem I've had.
