Dear Overland Bound Community,
I've just read that the 2 meter radio band (144 MHz to 148 MHz) may be given away , making it unusable for overland or emergency communications.
There are many articles on this subject. I didn't link to any of them since I really haven't posted anything before, but you can google it. The 2 M amateur
radio band is such an important resource not only to overland communication, but also to emergency communications (not to mention any equipment
you may own might be rendered useless) we can't let them take it away. There is a petition on change.org.
I implore you to sign it and pass on this information to as many people as you can.
