1997 T100 Build

Hey everyone,

Ditched my Frontier about 6 months ago for something a little more capable and ended up with a super clean T100. I have wanted a T100 for numerous years and I am impressed everyday with its size, gas mileage, and reliability.

Build so far:
ARB fridge
CVT Tent, I forgot the type
Custom front bumper with hella Black magic and a 9k Smittybilt winch.
Custom rock sliders
Custom rear bumper
ARE contractor canopy
Black Rock steel wheels (16x8) with 265/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs
Polyurethane bushings throughout
Procomp struts

Coming up:
Cab and cap over roof rack welded to rear bumper and sliders
Basket over cab
Rear swing out with dry box and mounts for two jerry cans
Full bed buildout for storage
Solar panel on bed, with second battery in bed for the fridge and accessories

Super excited to continue this build and get her some serious travel time.

They are under appreciated and thats alright with me! A similar setup Tacoma (97/SR5) would have cost me easily 4x as much in the current Pacific Northwest inflation pricing. Super easy to work on albeit highly underpowered on the mountain passes.

No longer in the PNW, we now reside in the truck and are currently in the SE. My buddy Dustin at FloFab Freestyle welding did all the metal work, he is the absolute best and would recommend him to anyone.

its good to see a T100 build, I like the tocomas but ya see soo many of them its kinda like they are all starting to look the same lol. Not taking anything from them its just nice to see other builds in the Toyota family

Don't mean to pry, but approximately what was the costs for your metal work? Eventually I plan on hopefully doing something similar with my '03 Tundra.
Would like to start with a bumper like yours

I 100% agree, as a joke I have a "One less tacoma" sticker on the rig. The people that notice it generally have something to say about it.

Hmmmm good question, I did some of the work and handled all the powdercoating but all in all I would say it was around $3k roughly.

I am about to trade my 1987 Toyota for a 1996 T100 due to health reasons. Do you mind me asking if you have a lift on it? Did you turn the torsion bars up any? Just trying to plan ahead. I love your truck. Do you have it copyrighted? LOL
