Figure I'll share what I came up with. Still needs a few adjustments but I need a new shovel before setting it in its permanent setting. Seems to work great and holds them tight and able to lock up when needed.
Hands down winner for cold weather camping is a diesel heater. Been using a $150 amazon for 2 years and it's been a game changer. Wife even enjoyed it last saturday at snow camp with temps in the teens. Running 12hrs it used half a talk and keeped us all dry. Just have to run a tank or 2...
I run ego tools in and around the house so picked up the 14" saw 3 years ago and love it for adventures. It's helped clear roads and fell trees for processing all the firewood. Lately I've been looking into a dewalt 20" as I carry a few cordless items in my kit so having matchig gear would...
If you havent look at the uptop overlanding racks. great fit and quality that has a mid height that kept mine down but also gave me some head room to crawl in the bed.
If your actually going to hit back country roads and do long travel I would stay as low as possible with the biggest tent you can fit, Lots of light weight tents out now.
I do agree with you but also think that making life easy for the worthless isn't the right way to look at it. It's kinda like the silly little lock on the traction boards, completely useless other then making someone think before acting. Maybe I'll look into mounting inside, under the bed rack...
I'm looking for ways to mount my axe and shovel and wondering if someone knows something I havent found yet. I've seen the quick fists and not a big fan cause of how easily they can be stolen so I've been looking for other options for mounting on the side of my bed rack.
Nice upgrade! You'll love the tent and how simple it makes camping. Nice choice in truck, I went Rebel CTD in olive for my build and I'm on the fence still on going 37's or 35. So many factors just make my head spin. lol
Welcome Travis, great name! lol
Nice looking truck but I would recommend just getting out and enjoying the pain of your first set of pin stripes. My 2022 tacoma is covered after my first year.lol Be safe and have fun
You wouldn't make it very long in that tight an area and living even in an RV is tough on a person. The stress of where to park or bathrooms is very high.
The grid can't even support these EV's and the materials used to make them isn't practical. It's not overlanding if you have to stay within 200 miles of a charge.
