Starting May 2021 I'll be living in Deer Lodge, Montana! I hope to take part in adventures and anything else available in the area! I'll be making trips to Glacier and Yellowstone as well!
Hi! I own a 1999 P38 Range rover. I found a nice looking roof rack on a garage sale but there's no brackets to mount the rack. Does anyone know of a universal mount or maybe have insight on how to custom make a mount? Thanks for the help!
Alright I ended up replacing both brake calipers and pads in the rear. Bled the brakes and so far the brakes are stiff again but my ABS and TC lights are still on. I didn't fully expect to gain these back but I'm still curious about why they are reading error. Any ideas?
I went to do brake work and found my right rear caliper was seized. I ordered calipers and the whole 9 yards like I should've.. should be here today and hopefully that will solve the issue
Thanks everyone for the help!! I'm going to replace brake pads next weekend and bleed the brakes after. Hopefully that solves the issue! The fluid does rise in the master cylinder after sitting so I'm glad you mentioned that. I also thought about getting the ABS sensors checked but let's take a...
Yes after it's been sitting for some time the pedal goes to the floor. The ABS accumulator will still build pressure but it also looses pressure as I said. I haven't tried bleeding the brakes since it's a complicated process with this vehicle and I'm timid to wreck something even worse. I'll do...
I have an issue that so far, 3 mechanics can't narrow down and I need input from Landy drivers. I got ball joints replaced awhile back and ever since my ABS and TC lights are on. My brakes won't hold pressure when the rig is setting over 12 hours but there isn't a leak anywhere either. When...
Thanks for the input! I ended up going with Bilstien shocks. The rig was already converted from EAS when I bought it. I run 275/65/R18 Duratracs and do get a little rubbing at full turn and steep articulation. I'm hoping the new shocks stiffen up the rig and lessen the rubbing but either way...
Hey all! I recently returned from a 5 day Overland trip to Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding area. The trip was incredible! Many campgrounds are closed or reservation only but the national forests are open and free of crowds! Highly recommended trip for everyone!
Hi everybody! I am looking into upgrading the suspension parts on my '99 P38 Range Rover. Through my research I have found that variety is limited and want to hear some other views on things. I am going to start with shocks first then move to springs and such soon after (it's a budget thing)...
Hi everyone! I'm a beginner overlander, experienced outdoorsman. I'm currently living in Burwell located in central Nebraska. My rig is a '99 P38 Range Rover. I have had many mechanical repairs and am now moving towards building up the rig for longer trips. I look forward to meeting new friends...
