    Electric chainsaw recommendations?

I found this thread searching for a chain saw to carry in my Jeep. You never know when a tree will be blocking the trail. I already carry a Milwaukee M18 impact, so I have the batteries and charger. I'm looking at the new "top handle" 12" that's pretty compact...

Sizing lithium "generators" for my rig (fridge) and trailer.

More brain storming..... My main battery is due for a replacement (2018). This could be a good time to do a Genesis dual battery set up and that will give me plenty of juice to run my fridge and everything is under the hood without a bunch of wires and boxes taking up space in the back...

Sizing lithium "generators" for my rig (fridge) and trailer.

Good points all around. The newer ecoflow have the better LifePo battery chemistry too. Another option I have since you mentioned avoiding AC.... I have a Honda EU2000 generator too. I could put that with the trailer in a tongue box and use it when A/C is needed (which I think would be...

Sizing lithium "generators" for my rig (fridge) and trailer.

I talked with my buddy with the Garmin and it was only one campsite that was giving us a terrible goose chase. It didn't exist. I thought it was giving him trouble the whole week. He's happy with it. I edited my previous comment.

Is the Garmin Overlander better than a tablet and app?

Going to edit my post after getting an update from my friend: My friend bought the Garmin and we did a week long trip. Pretty much every POI in the Garmin was bogus. It had issues in one location trying to find a campsite for the night. We were looking for a campsite, it was getting dark...

    Hello From Georgia

I did the GA traverse with 4 others last fall. It was great. We downloaded the maps and routes from the GA traverse website. I loaded the track into the mapping app Gaia and that helped a lot. I also zoomed in on each section, took a screen shot and printed it so I had a paper flip chart...

    New down in South Florida

I'm new to the forum. I'm an active off-roader and camper. Last fall I did the Georgia Traverse including Windrock off-road park (TN), and Beasly Knob over 10 days. I'm now using the COVID-19 lock down time to refine my set up, go through my gear, and read up on more overlanding.
