We hang out at a distillery and cigar lounge. Many of the regulars love her to death. When they learned about the snakebites, she started getting cases of treats, toys and other things.
One of her benefactors bought a new bed. She's been sneaking up on it for days. This morning she gave in.
Not this time. Snake venom is nasty stuff. She’s lost half her cheek, and just beginning to start healing. Between the need to keep her wound clean and the risk of infection, we’re hiding out at home for a while.
I’ve broken out my overland and camping gear more than once while at home due to storms, etc. very nice to have some comfort while uncontrollable events are happening.
Dogagator! She’s looking better and seems to be feeling better. Been trying to chase geckos this morning. Her mouth is still way too fragile for that.

A lot of y’all have met Mollie, so here’s an update.
Mollie took two rattlesnake bites to her face Wednesday night. Two days in the hospital and 3 vials of antivenin latter and she’s home. She’s swollen and tired.
I’m playing by ear for tomorrow. Mollie took two rattlesnake bites to her face Wednesday night. Two days in the hospital and 3 vials of antivenin latter and she’s home. She’s swollen and tired so we’ll see in the morning.
