Cool build! Looks like fun!
Great name too! Although I am a bit partial to it lol.
What was the inspiration coming up with the name?
Mine was Roy Rogers horse, & gun related ha!
Did the tpms bypass and fog light mods on my 4Runner. Surprisingly simple, took me longer to strip the tape off the factory loom than it took to do the mods lol. Been wanting to do these for a while but something a little scary about messing with factory wiring. Makes me want to tackle some...
Ok this is the best thread on OB!! Amazed at the generosity of the community. Nice to see the old school community mentality of helping those in need is more important than money. Warms my heart .
That being said, I’d like to contribute.
I have full front and rear arms off a 2004 4runner that...
Finally ordered my Sherpa Equipment Princeton rack & accessories! So stoked!! Been wanting/needing this for soo long.
Let the 8-10 week countdown begin!⏱
oh, also I removed the white wrap from her this weekend. Weird to have a grey 4runner now but she looks damn good if I do say so! Off for a...
Last thing I bought was extended swaybar links all around and extended bump stops to finish out the suspension. Next on the list is a Rigd ultra swing and accessories (can’t wait to get that!).
Not sure on the fridge wiring but with the lights, just run whatever the size wire that the lights come with and you’ll be fine. Without going out to look, I believe most lights use 14 to 18awg depending on the light. I think I used 18awg on all mine just to make it easy and go a bit overkill...
Agree with all suggestions, just go somewhere close and easy to get to to start and you’ll find out what you need.
My $.02, airing down tires makes the ride much more comfortable so a deflator kit & air compressor are a must for me. Never hurts to, at minimum, have maxtraxx for recovery if...
We’d love to get out and attend a meet up! But with the mask & 6ft distancing requirement, why not make it even more “safe” and do it virtually, or require 3 masks because the all knowing cdc says so? Sorry but we’re tired of this illogical nonsense. We will not be attending this until the...
I hear ya! I’ve done most everything myself on my truck because nobody will do it as good as me lol. Learned a lot in the process and like you said, I know how to fix it if anything goes wrong down the road. My boss is definitely not that kind of guy, he has $ and wants it done now so he can...
I did. I sent him info to my guy at Citrus Ford, he does all their SEMA cars and has done work on my brothers Transit Van build (@vantera) as well as my dads H2. Funny enough though, boss ended up selling that RAM and bought a brand new 2021 Mega Cab and a custom overland trailer because he was...
You’re overthinking it... just get it if you like it
Or save your $, get an AFE dry filter, knock off the dust & keep going.
K&N are dust magnets because of the oil & aren’t cleanable on the go.
It’s holding up great! No problems so far. I used rubber barrel nuts to secure the converter and keep it insulated and to give it a bit of shock absorption, and used heat shrink on all the wires to protect them. Super simple install even though I was a little apprehensive given the stories I...
