Congratulations on your license! I can’t tell from your photos, but you can usually find space to get through the firewall on the driver’s side. There may be space near the steering wheel or there may be an unused plugged hole on that side.
A good place to get vehicle specific info like this...
Thanks for the invitation. Sorry that I can’t make it, I’ll be in Ohio at a totally different event. I hope you all have a great time. Please post the results afterwards so that I can feel bad about not making it there.

Yes, the neoprene covers don't breathe. I use them because they are waterproof and shed dirt easily. I haven't noticed that they hold heat, or cold, any more or less than any other seat covers. I have a leather interior under those neoprene covers and that doesn't breathe either.

I had the factory Nissan neoprene seat covers in my 2000 Xterra and they lasted for about 14 years. I think that they were made by CoverKing. I replaced the fronts with Wet Okele. That was the worst decision that I ever made. The Okeles started to show wear after about a year. and the seams...
I've been buying the Goodyear blades that Costco sells for 3 or 4 years now. They go on sale a couple of times a year for $5 or $6 each. I replace them once a year. They work fine for me.

I have the Raingler roof net along with the barrier net and have the top of the barrier attached to the roof net with a couple of cheap carabiners. I have a coon hound and she's not large enough, or smart enough, to climb up the net to try and get over. She spends most of her time sticking her...
I had a 2000 Xterra SE for 15 years. Overall it was pretty bulletproof. It was a V6 with a manual trans. These had a few problem areas: the distributer's shaft would fail, but one still on the road has been fixed by now. The timing belt needs to be replaced at 100k. The valve cover gaskets start...
I have a Yaesu FT-8800 mounted under the dash with the remote head attached to the center console.
One of the speakers is for the Yaesu and the second is for the Cobra CB.
The CB antenna is mounted to the left fender and the ham antenna is mounted to the center of the roof just behind...
