I'd have to argue that what this post is missing is Jack Stands. I don't care what jack you use, once you start the process of removing the tire, the rig should be on jackstands. I pack around 2x12x12 lumber to use as a base for the stands.

Bonners Ferry has a brewery! (decent beers, too, their stout is outstanding) Definitely a lot less snow than there was just a few weeks ago when I was up there.
