Having nothing planned yet. Many told me the Northside is better for overlanding but couldn't give me directions or places.

I want to take my fiance to see the huge trees, as she's never been before. What are some good overlanding areas we can camp at, and still be somewhat close by to the park?

In a few weeks, I'll be heading towards sequoia. Anyone know of some good camping spots, away from campgrounds? Preferably with no one around? I was pointed towards the north side of sequoia.

I kind of avoid 'overland' products, they tend to be overpriced and seems unnecessary for good old camping. I just bring camping gear, and my jeep does not look like the apocalypse is upon us. I do, have a battery and powered fridge/freezer. I see a ton of rigs here in socal (mostly 4runners)...

My boy and girl, Max and Nara. They love going for rides and offroading (girl is into offroading more than my boy). If I say 'wanna go for a ride?' They get very excited and run to their harnesses.

I'm not a huge music fan, my taste is varied, little bit of everything. I do bring Bluetooth speakers for just background noise sometimes, like when setting up camp. A lot of times I drive without music. I love hearing my 3.0 liter turbo diesel make noises haha!

3.5" MC game changer suspension. Got 2 things to do next, regear to 4.56 and spare tire relocation for my 37s. Also shopping for a larger fridge. Currently using an 18 quart but looking for something around 30 quarts, preferably dual climate.

Get heavy duty double sided tape that's waterproof. Used for harsh conditions like for boats.

Went for a nice trip for a few days in borrego springs. Was a good time, but the weather was terrible.

Rented a Tesla model S from Turo recently. A good way to rent cars IMO. Tesla is really fun to drive, but God what a pain to find a supercharger and wait 30 min to an hour to charge. Every other station was not working or closed, very annoying.
