Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Ok i got a 10 watt solar panel. The reviews say this is small enough to not need a controller, and has automatic shut off so it won't drain my battery.
Will be testing it on a dead battery as soon as we start getting some sun. The fires have the sun nearly blocked out with ash at the moment.
I'm hoping the awning isn't pulled during the drive!
I've thought about that too, which side? I'm guessing for me, it wouldn't matter too much, I would park in a way to get the best shade.
Even thought about the short one for rear mount.
Thats good to know!
Likely I will charge at home before I head out. I like to plan things way ahead of time anyways.
Will probably end up with a 100 watt panel.
Been watching a lot of videos, seems thr jackery 500 could power a small fridge (say 20 quart) for several days no issues.
Just...
They dropped the ball on the retro styling for sure.
I'm sure itd very comfortable and has a lot of bells and whistles, definetly good for long trips im guessing.
If you want an offroader, get a wrangler... or a ram if you need more room.
I wish i took better care of my leather. It has cracks and such.
4 years old.
I do have some leather cleaner and protectant now, and might get covers, but they look terrible.
