Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
This sounds like fun! I am probably in.
I could run comms and video in someone's rig, or bring my own 2 person team. I'll figure that out.
I have iPhone apps than can do offline GPS plus all the radio coms.

I think one of my Billsteins is failing. At only about 20k miles.
It's on my 1999 4Runner. After rotating the tires I noticed that one of them was cupping. So I checked that shock and it still had grease on it from when the CV boot failed and threw grease all over the strut. So I power washed...
How about Starbucks:
282 Los Altos Pkwy, Sparks, NV 89436

That work?
I'll be in my White 4Runner. Mobile is 775-762-4058, CB channel 4, FRS channel 6.
Pig Rock is a climbing crag up a canyon just this side of Pyramid. I went there like 15 years ago and haven't been back.
It's here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=14f4xmlY4KjaAVgktH6ESbidH344&usp=sharing
As I remember it's sandy but a cool canyon. I had a Jeep back then, so of course it...
What's your plan for the morning? Want to explore around Pig Rock? It's on the way to the lake on Pyramid Hwy. I will have my little guy with me, but that's a neat area to explore and climb around on rocks. I have to be back by 3 to pick my other guy up from school.
You mean the swing out tire rack? Yeah, there's a downside to those. That's the main reason I think I'll stick to a tire that will fit UNDER my 4Runner.

We also use the mountainsmith cubes for packing the kids and some odds and ends like towels and the pillows.

They are nice though we don't usually use the big tote for them. I use...
I have a few packing cubes from Eagle Creek that I use for longer trips. Separate out socks and undies.
Also have a Lowe Alpine pack/duffle that has inner zip compartments to separate things even more. It has a separate sleeve for dirty things too and compression straps to keep it small.

We got 17 in our 2010 F-150 going down to Las Vegas, then 10 on the trail for Mojave Road.
In a similar trip in our 1999 4Runner we got 17.5 on the highway with the Sky Box and 14 on the trail through Death Valley.

For the Mustang Tour?
I do. It's Lousetown Road from I80 to Geiger Grade. Then from VC you take the Ophir Grade Road down to Carson.
Lots of other loops and options too. We could do Toll Road which parallels Geiger down into Reno. Was just there yesterday and there are mustangs about, though...
Our kids had a great time in Mojave Preserve too! We diverted down to Hole In The Wall, which was RAD and then over to Kelso. I was unprepared for how stoked they would be just to wallow in the sand. Then they had a blast at the Lava Tube. Awesome place!
