Sometimes the Ubolts are longer so you can add another leaf whenever you want... and if you add more weight (bumpers, skidplates, equipment) you will likely need it! if not, you can cut it and there wont be any problem, just leave like an in or 3/4"
It's similar to the Relentless Fab... I quoted the shipping to Mexico and it was almost the same as the bumper, so I took some of their ideas and was custom made, with some mods...
About the bungee, its a dog leash hanging in the hilift... hahaha
